Storytelling Halloween 2019

profedanie

To get everyone in the holiday spirit, we prepared traditional spooky stories to tell! Infantil can be a little dicey when it comes to horror stories. They're easily scared by random things, like the crab from Moana, or a video of an elephant breaking a grandfather clock. Spoiler alert: none of them flinched by my choices, but they were entertained, nonetheless!

For the little ones (3-4 years), I showed them a video and explained the different iconography of the story. It's called "Too Much Candy" by Elf Learning.

You can see the powerpoint here:

For the slightly older kids (5 years), I narrated "The Girl with the Green Ribbon" myself, including GIFs for extra suspense. To be fair, this story scared me as a kid.

Here are my brave, stone-cold 3-4 year olds after story time!

See part two: more Halloween festivities! :)
