LANGUAGE AND CULTURE ASSISTANT

Madrid, Spain | October 2018 - June 2021

Delivered Content Based English Instruction for 21 sections of Infantil (ages 3-5) and Primaria (ages 6-12), in subjects such as English, Social Science, and Natural Science. Collaborated with teachers to create appropriate communicative language opportunity for students. Introduced students to important cultural topics and encouraged the acquisition of language pragmatics.

Planned and instructed English classes for Primaria (ages 6-12). Evaluated English level and graded students' class work and assignments. Designed syllabi and prepared course materials, such as elaborate games, homework assignments, exams, and handouts. Maintained student attendance records and improvement. Capitalized on excellence for vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.

Initiated, facilitated, and moderated classroom discussions for adult women in Thai and English -- allowing them to mobilize in the workforce. Prepared course materials such as homework assignments and handouts. Adapted to each students’ needs and literacy levels in each session. Taught English by engaging with the mediums of drawing, painting, and story-telling. Ensured student happiness for optimal performance by establishing a trusting and friendly relationship.

Represented 25,951 undergraduate UC Berkeley students with one other student to speak to over 30 new Berkeley faculty. Presented them with enthusiasm and personal insight about what they can expect from Berkeley students.
